Hello and welcome to the Corstorphine Astoria Centre’s website!

At the end of 2017, The Corstorphine Trust took a long term lease of the Kirk Loan Hall from The Old Parish Church.

It has been renamed The Corstorphine Astoria Centre and will be the new home of the 2/4 Ingram organ that was used in the Astoria Cinema (now the site of Iceland) until its demolition in the mid-1970s. The Trust have undertaken to restore the Ingram to its former glory.

In the meantime, the hall has been fully refurbished and is now available for hire.  To view current availability please visit the Hall Hire tab.

The hall is fully accessible from Kirk Loan, is all on one level and is a minutes’ walk from St John’s Road and the nearest bus stop.  For anyone hiring the hall limited off road parking is available.  Free evening and weekend parking is available in the car park of Westfield House Social work Centre.

Also on the website are potted histories of the Astoria Cinema, the Ingram Organ, a timeline of events and the chance to become a Friend of the organ.

If you’d like more information or would like to see around the hall please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.  All our details are on the Contact page.

Regards.
